What does the process involve?

This ensures that there is a rougher surface for the new veneers to attach to, providing them resilience and durability. Once your veneers are created and ready to get fixed on your teeth, we will ensure that they are fitted perfectly and that they are securely glued in place.

Who should consider porcelain veneers?

Most patients who want to fix cosmetic flaws in their teeth but do not want to have braces or dental implants, are good candidates for porcelain veneers. Because veneers cover the front surface of the teeth, they are effective at masking blemishes without replacing or harming the tooth itself. However, patients must have healthy teeth before having their veneers fixed. If decay or advanced gum disease are present under or around a veneer, they will most likely fail.

Additionally, only adult patients can be treated with porcelain veneers. Since they are customised to cover your teeth for many years, these teeth cannot continue to grow or change substantially. For this reason, veneers cannot be supported by young adults and children.
